I started working with the Oracle Database at 9i firstly as a developer, learning Oracle Forms and Reports on the way. Later I changed the role to being a DBA for most of my career managing 9i, 10g, 11g, and 12c databases. Taking the step to a presales position or later a post-sales position got me closer to the Oracle Cloud and the database family services there.
Now I am part of the Product Management Database Platform Technology Solutions team helping partners and customers understand more about the Oracle Database in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

| Having a different View – JSON Relational Duality Views – Abstract: JSON-relational duality views combine the advantages of using JSON documents with the advantages of the relational model, while avoiding the limitations of each. With Duality View, while data gets stored in relational tables in a normalized way, it can be exposed to apps as JSON documents. Storing the data in relational tables delivers all the benefits of the relational model, whereas by exposing the same data as JSON documents, apps get schema flexibility and other benefits of the document model. In this session, we will discuss the JSON Relational Duality Views way of working, use cases, and benefits. |
